Finally fixed my scepter and took some better pictures!! Woot!
I made the light function more funtionble by making a chamber where the lights simply rest inside. So when a light dies you can easily switch them out.
This is made entirely from foam. So its super light weight! The inside has a thick spongy foam to keep the shape, the outside is constructed from craft foam. Painted with gold and silver metallic paint mixed with black acrylic to create the worn shading. Sealed with several coats of mod podge matte. The lovely glowing effect is created by one blue LED light shining through a cable tube into a small perfume bottle. It doses not have all the details as the scepter Loki holds but I did my best to accurately recreate it. Id say its pretty darn accurate.
